C.R. Sandidge 2017 Triumph

The Triumph blend is a deep, rich red from C.R. Sandidge. It’s packed with fruity notes like blackberry and raspberry and accompanied by a sweet hint of vanilla. This blend of Malbec, Merlot, and just a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect match with sautéed mushrooms. We recommend a dish as simple as wild mushrooms sautéed in butter and topped with a little salt and pepper! Add a slice of sourdough bread and you’ll be in heaven!

WineGirl Wines 2018 Pretzel Girl Gewürztraminer

If you’re in the market for something on the sweet side, WineGirl Wine’s Pretzel Girl Gewürztraminer might be just what you’re looking for. This sweeter wine has notes of farm fresh peaches and floral undertones. Sweet, viscous wines like this Gewürztraminer shine brightest when paired with exotic and highly spiced dishes. You can’t go wrong serving it up with a quick stir-fry or curry!

Karma Vineyards 2014 Méthode Champenoise Brut

Karma Vineyards is known for its delectable sparkling wines. This Brut sparkling wine is complex, with bright apple and pear aromas and notes of hazelnut and toasted bread. It’s an impressive wine all on its own, so we recommend letting it shine. Pair this with an elegant charcuterie board of soft cheeses, apples, and salami.

Succession Wines 2018 Rosé

This Syrah rosé from Succession Wines is savory, bold, and oh so good. With hints of white pepper and strawberry, this ruby-hued wine is packed with flavor from start to finish. Lovers of red and white wine alike will appreciate this wine. A bold pour like this calls for something simple and easy. Our recommendation? A classic pepperoni pizza! Troy’s Pizza is walking distance from your unit, making it easy to pick up a take out order or get it delivered straight to your unit!

There’s plenty more wine to try in the Lake Chelan Valley, but we hope this is a helpful starting point for exploring wine and food pairings! For more information on tasting rooms that are walking distance from your unit, check out our Downtown Manson Wine Tasting Guide! Bon appétit!
