Things to Look For When Booking Your Stay in Lake Chelan
So you’ve decided on a trip to Lake Chelan. Woo! Now it’s time to take care of the details. Where will everyone sleep? What will we eat? Can we really survive a week off food that fits in a hotel mini-fridge and restaurant leftovers? How do we keep everyone happy? Here are some things to look for when booking your stay to Lake Chelan to help you have the relaxing getaway you deserve!
Space
You want a space that will accommodate you perfectly. Sometimes that means just enough space for you and your best pals to wind down at the end of a long day. Sometimes it’s a house that feels like home to you and your family (and let’s be real - you’ll probably need to do a load of laundry). Whatever the occasion, you want to feel at ease. Keep an eye out for how many people a given unit can sleep and how many bedrooms and bathrooms are available. Lucky for you, we have multiple options like our Honeycrisp unit that sleeps 8 or the Casa Blanca that sleeps 14 and has in-unit laundry machines.
Access
When vacationing in Lake Chelan, access to the lake is pretty important. If you’re bringing your boat, make sure the place you stay has access to a boat launch and mooring. Life will be 10x easier when you don’t have to worry about where to launch or store your boat. At Marina’s Edge, you’ll have boat slip access AND you’re just a stone’s throw from Manson Bay Marina for easy launching!
Amenities
Access to other amenities can take your trip from good to great as well. Community BBQ? Heated pool and hot tub area? A fully equipped modern kitchen? We offer those in all of our units. In Unit A, you’ll have 3 rooms with king-sized beds, 2 flat-screen TVs, and a private balcony. If you’re staying in Casa Blanca, you can expect a private deck, basketball court, shuffleboard, lake access, and parking for up to 6 cars!
Dates
Timing is another crucial aspect of booking your stay. Reserving your space as early as you can is always advised, especially in the summer months when everything books up fast. Plan smart and see if there’s an event you’d like to base your trip around. Maybe it’s the Manson Apple Blossom in the spring or Bach Fest in the summer. Or it could be a birthday, girls weekend away, or family reunion. Maybe it’s just a long-needed weekend getaway!
Location
You’re on vacation! You don’t want to worry about navigating windy roads or herding the family into cars to head out to dinner. We can’t promise you won’t have to do those things, but making it easier for you is a priority for us. When booking your stay, look for somewhere that’s close to the places you want to be. For us, that means the lake and good food and drink. We’re just up the street from Manson Bay Park and Marina, which means you’re only a short walk from Shoreline for watercraft rentals. You’re also walking distance to downtown Manson where you’ll find lots of great shopping and dining options and over 15 wine, cider, and beer tastings! Pair this with the incredible views from your unit and you’ll never want to leave.
